Ace of Swords - Finding the Middle Ground
Ace of Swords – Finding the Middle Ground
Gemini, Libra & Aquarius
The Ace of Swords is about clarity, intelligence, and truth.
Writing is a skill that’s represented by the Ace of Swords. You may find that you’re a budding wordsmith when you see this card, or at least would benefit greatly from honing your skills. Often, when we write out our thoughts, feelings, desires, and needs, we become more clear about what we’re needing.
We become more conscious as to what we’re doing and why.
What’s the underlying belief in any situation? What’s the karmic pattern you’re operating under? What needs to change to create your best life now? What feeds you? What leaves you hungry?
The Ace of Swords specifically says to cut through blockages and get to what’s important. To not allow things to drift. To make decisions one way or another.
Issues of Peace and War frequently come up with this Ace. If it’s accompanied by the High Priestess, that’s doubly so. She holds the middle ground between the light and the dark and says to take the middle path.
Combine your logic and intuition to become a powerful force for the good.
When right side up, the Ace of Swords says that you’re right about a situation. If it’s positive, then you’re right about that. If it’s not so good, then you’re right about that.
If this Ace appears reversed, you need to look directly at the situation to see what it’s offering you. If someone has a temper, doesn't communicate and only offers sins of omission, that's not likely to change without some serious work. So, the Ace of Swords reversed can be a bright red flag, best not to be overlooked.
This is an energy of taking clear and direct action and being honest in your words and intentions

as well. Look squarely at the truth and be honest. What helps you build a better world for yourself, and what doesn’t?
Everything you think and do should be adding value to your life.
Your intentions might be good, but if you offer more than you want to give, you can create unnecessary trouble. Simply be honest.
In terms of Communication, we find the planet Mercury supporting more connection and clarity. That’s Gemini. Continue to bring in the new and fresh energy until June of next year.
In terms of Love, we find balanced and harmonious relationships, with the planet Venus ruling over Libra. Fairness brings harmony; deception upsets the scales and creates disharmony. If others aren’t showing the same sincerity, it’s best to step back a bit.
Decide if and where they belong in your life. If they are, then showing up and offering appreciation leads to more.
When introducing new situations into your life, the Ace of Swords can be very helpful. Right way up is usually positive. Reversed is not.
The Aquarian vibe loves spontaneity. We find that with the planet Uranus. Coupled with Saturn, we strike the perfect balance between curiosity and risk, and structure and discipline.
This Ace helps us discern the difference between what wastes our time and what legitimately helps us build the new.
Overall, the Ace of Swords says that it’s okay to look out for your own best interests and to be honest about what that entails. Over-giving or withholding can indicate that there’s an imbalance.
All of the above planets are helping you to become more conscious of deeper-seated patterns. The Ace of Swords says to use your logic or mind to help liberate outdated beliefs that may be keeping you or your loved ones stuck.
Yes, times have changed, and they can be frighteningly unfamiliar. But they also offer the opportunity for liberation, growth, and a radical change that’s very needed.
Change ensures that we don't become stagnant.
Finding the middle ground between the two poles of love & hate, truth & lies, right and wrong stay or go, is much easier when you know that that’s what you’re looking for.
Much Love,
Rebeccca
