Reiki (pronounced “Ray-key”) is a simple, safe and effective Tibetan healing technique that anyone can learn and practice. “Rei” means “Universal” and “ki” means “Life Force Energy”. Reiki provides healing for the Mind, Body & Spirit and is also known as Chi or prana in other Eastern systems such as yoga and acupuncture. It is considered a Kundalini Art.
This Course will teach and enable you to provide Reiki for yourself and others as well as animals and plants and send distance, crisis & global Reiki. This allows you greater access to Universal healing energies, clearing your energetic body as well as heightening your intuition and creative abilities. The Reiki I & II Attunement processes are the keys that unlock yet another door to the awareness of your connection with your Divinity.
Reiki I clears and expands your physical body and Reiki II clears and expands your emotional body. This allows you accept and pass along a higher vibrational level of energy for yourself and others. There is a 21 day initiation period after the Attunements and we will learn and practice techniques to ground yourself for a smooth flow of energy.
Students will:
Learn some of the history and nature of Reiki
Learn Usui Reiki lineage
Learn 5 Reiki Principles which bring peace in every day life
Receive Level 1 & 2 Attunement
Learn traditional and effective healing positions for the self and others
Practice giving a Reiki treatment with hand positions
Practice Self Treatment hand positions
Hone their understanding of the mind/body/spirit connection
Grounding and protection techniques
Learn how to use Reiki to treat animals and plants
Develop greater awareness of the energy of their own bodies
Learn how Reiki can calm the body and mind
Learn and participate in body spirit scanning processes
Understand legal responsibilities as a Reiki Practioner
Learn tools to establish a strong Reiki Practice
Learn about ways to incorporate Reiki with other healing arts

Light fare and snacks as well as water & tea will be provided through the course of the day. Please arrive 15 Minutes early so we can begin on time. Please refrain from tobacco and alcohol use for at least 48 hours prior to the Attunement.
